2011 Album(2011)

All songs written and recorded in the first 2 weeks of February 2011 by sonicmagpie Vocals and Keyboards – Cat Taylor Guitar, Bass, Keyboards, Drum Machine, Vocals – Bryn Corbett Production notes: When we originally talked about doing this project in December 2010, we decided we would call the CD ‘In Limbo’. Most of the lyrics were tailored to fit this concept as the songs developed. Prior to beginning the project, we made the decision to use a limited palette of sounds throughout the all of the songs. Our virtual band consisted of one drum machine sound (made on Logic Audio’s Ultrabeat), an Ibanez Bass, a cheap Fender Strat Copy, a Wurlitzer organ and an electric piano (the EB3 and EBP88 also found in logic) Guitar and bass were run through native instruments guitar rig 4 and occasionally through various additional effects also part of logic audio. Cats vocals were recorded using the built in pin hole mic on her mac book. All songs recorded and mixed in Logic Audio and mastered in sony
